We want to thank you all for your patience and understanding
during these challenging times. This pandemic has taken its toll
on all of us in some way or another, but we want you to know that
our goal is to keep our residents safe. Anyone that enters our
building must be screened for temperature and will complete a
questionnaire regarding signs and symptoms of Covid-19. We ask
that you do not enter our facility if you are feeling under the
weather.
VISITATION
Many of you were able to
visit your loved ones in our outdoor area over the summer. With
the changing seasons, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has
allowed for indoor visitation. All visits must be scheduled and
will be conducted indoors in a common area until further notice.
Please call the front desk to schedule a visit. You will be
allowed to schedule two visitors at a time for 30 minutes. Face
masks must be worn, and social distancing must be maintained.
Visitors are allowed ONLY through the front door reception area;
visitors may not roam the building and are not allowed in a
resident’s apartment. We would like to remind everyone that
outside visitors are not allowed in resident’s apartments, that
includes entering through the patios. We are obligated to follow
the rules and recommendations set forth by ODH and the CDC and we
appreciate your help complying with this. If the Ohio Public
Health Advisory System changes to a purple status for Cuyahoga
County, we will have to stop all visitation. We appreciate your
help in our goal of keeping our residents safe.
TESTING
We are now testing staff every two weeks
and residents are tested on an as needed basis. We are required to
report any positive resident and staff cases on a weekly basis to
the health department. ODH will update their site weekly, and you
are able to check this information at
https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/dashboards/long-term-care-facilities/cases.
We are asking that our residents only leave the facility for
necessities and medical appointments. Residents must wear face
masks when in common areas of the building and social distancing
should be maintained.
